Elevating Yourself and the Profession During Times of Uncertainty

A discussion with veteran members on strategies to empower you as a leader in the field of sports nutrition.  Amy Bragg (University of Alabama), Jon Tanguay (Texas A&M) and Caroline Mandel (University of Michigan) will discuss three or more strategies that they have used to elevate themselves and their programs to administration, pivot their services, and plan for a new normal when they return to campus.

Objectives:

  1. Recognize and understand your key stakeholder and how to communicate your value as a sports RD
  2. Strategically identifying tasks and jobs associated with the RD credential that separate this profession from others.
  3. Discussing ways to ensure the Sports RD contributes to risk mitigation.

Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association (Accredited Provider CP294) is approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration to provide continuing education to Registered Dietitians. This program is eligible for 1.0 CPEU.
